New Silk Road Network for Promoting the Construction of the "the Belt and Road"
The the Belt and Road is the abbreviation of the Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road. The Belt and Road Initiative, proposed by President Xi Jinping in 2013, has become a platform for international regional economic cooperation.
The construction of the "the Belt and Road" runs through Asia, Europe and Africa, with the developed European economic circle at one end and the active East Asian economic circle at the other. It is a path of cooperation and win-win for promoting common development and achieving common prosperity, a path of peace and friendship for enhancing understanding and trust, and strengthening all-round exchanges. It is a grand economic vision for open cooperation among countries along the Belt and Road. It requires all countries to work together, uphold the core concepts of peaceful cooperation, openness and inclusiveness, mutual learning and mutual benefit, and move towards the goal of mutual benefit and common security, and jointly build a community of shared interests, a community of shared destiny, and a community of shared responsibility with political mutual trust, economic integration, and cultural inclusiveness.
2015 is the year when the "the Belt and Road" concept is completed and implemented; In February, the Chinese government established a leading group to promote the construction of the "the Belt and Road"; In March, the vision and actions for promoting the joint construction of the Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road were released. In 2023, the initiative has been put forward for ten years, with over 150 countries and more than 30 international organizations joining and signing over 200 cooperation agreements; As of October, the total import and export volume between China and the co building countries has exceeded 21 trillion US dollars, and the cumulative direct investment in the co building countries has exceeded 270 billion US dollars;
